The University Hospital de los Andes (HULA) in Mérida, Venezuela, is the primary institution for child
delivery in a region housing millions of people and spanning multiple districts. Due to strained
economic conditions the supply of infant formula at the hospital is critical and infants who cannot be
breastfed are at risk of malnutrition. This puts the newborns in danger of severe disease and loss of
life. With your donation you support our efforts to establish a milk bank at the HULA
where mothers are given a hygienic and comfortable environment to pump and store breast milk.
This provides a long-term and sustainable solution and guarantees nourishment for all who stay at
