Our Club

Welcome to the website of Rotaract Club Heidelberg-International.

We are a young international service club, founded on January 27th, 2017, and one of only five international English-speaking Rotaract Clubs in Germany.
We follow the German Rotaract motto LEARN | HELP | CELEBRATE through a variety of presentations, social projects, and socializing meetings. On this website you can find more information about our club and Rotaract in general.

We meet every Thursday, usually at the “Jugendagentur Heidelberg” (Römerstraße 23) at 07:30 p.m. Please check our program for details and feel free to drop by anytime. We are always happy to welcome new guests and look forward to meeting you!

Our Members

Alina studied occupation therapy and now works at a rehabilitation clinic in Heidelberg. She first came in contact with the world of Rotary as a member of Interact Club Mainz and later of Rotaract club SaarbrĂŒcken. Since 2021 she is a part of Rotaract Club Heidelberg-International and acts as our Officer for Service Projects in 2025/26.

Kristan works as a corporate lawyer and supports the club as Vice President in the 2025/26 term. His favorite project so far was last years Bookshelf Project – combining education and community engagement. For him, Rotaract is a place to learn new skills and contribute to a meaningful cause.

Lennart is currently pursuing his PhD in computer science and finds in Rotaract a vibrant community wherehe can meet new friends and make the world a littlte better in the process. His enthusiasm is especially evident at KidsCamp, which remains his favorite project to support. To kick off those long workshop days, he often reaches for a hearty roll topped with scrambled eggs, ham, butter and jam. In 2025/26 Lennart takes on the challenge to serve as our clubs Sergeant at Arms, Webmaster and Secretary all in one!

With a B.A. in English and Sociology and a sharp eye for detail as an Executive Assistant and Subcontracting Clerk, Manali keeps things running smoothly. Both at work and in our club as President in 2025/26. For her, Rotaract is all about being part of a community that gives back to the world. Her favorite project? Also KidsCamp. Did you know she once had a crush on Lil Wayne (and fully intended to take that secret to the grave
until we put it on the website. Sorry, not sorry!)?

With a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management, Saurav works as a Senior Demand Planner. For him, Rotaract is all about togetherness – building a strong community through support, creating opportunities to grow, and celebrating shared wins. His favorite project is the Kauf-Eins-Mehr-Aktion (Buy-One-More-Project), and while he’s passed the presidential torch, he still supports Manali with the wisdom (and patience) he gathered during his own term in 2024/25.

Erika studied MSc. Mechanical Engineering at KAIST, South Korea and Master Degree in International Project Management at EAE Business School, Spain. She is currently working as a VAVE and innovation Program Manager in the automotive industry. In 2020 Erika started attending our meetings and became an official member in 2021. She is passionate about art and culture and loves travelling, learning languages and martial arts.

With a background in central banking, Luca works as a foreign trade auditor. He enjoys live music and camping – but his real passion lies in supporting the Rotaract community, especially behind the scenes. His favorite project is the KidsCamp, and in 2025/26 he will serve as District Rotaract Representative.

Nathan holds a B.A. in Slavic philology and today applies his analytical skills as an investment consultant and our clubs Treasurer. He describes Rotaract as “projects with friends & friends with projects,” reflecting his belief in teamwork and shared purpose. His favorite initiative involves providing baby formula for the tiniest residents of Venezuela, a project that combines practical support with genuine care.

Armed with an M.Sc. in Translational Medicine and currently deep in PhD research at the German Cancer Research Center, Martin spends most of his days in the lab – but Rotaract lets him step outside his science bubble. For him, it’s about learning new things, making a social impact, and doing something that truly matters. His favorite project? The Secret Book Sale at last year’s Christmas market (because who doesn’t love hidden treasures?). Fun fact: His party playlist is 90s/00s pop – and yes, he knows all the lyrics.
